TRELLIS
An experiment in creating imaginary cartographic plants designed to map the urban forest in sections of San Francisco's Northeast Waterfront District. In the mapping scenario, the district street grid functions as a trellis supporting a composite branching system whose leaf positions mark the species and location of urban street tree plantings.
